Wild Soul River
Sacred chanting is a meditative experience to get in touch with your body, your higher self, and the collective consciousness. Kirtan is sacred call and response chanting practice from the Vedic tradition in India. We use primarily Sanskrit words in Kirtan, which will be supplied to you for following along. If you find that you have trouble sitting still during meditation, you might notice that it is easier to be seated for meditation when chanting. If you find that your heart is heavy or your mind is busy, Kirtan might be a practice to calm and center you. Participation in chanting is optional and encouraged. No prior experience is needed.
Sliding scale $5-$15. It’s suggested that you pay what helps you arrive fully in the present moment without straining your finances.
Kirtan is best practiced on a floor cushion. Wild Soul River will be generously providing chairs and a couple cushions. You are encouraged to bring your own floor cushion or yoga mat as well. Accommodations for differently abled folks are available - reach out to ahead of time to let me know how we can best accommodate you.
Sarah Gold is a woodland creature and former New Yorker from the Wild Soul River community who has been practicing Kirtan for 8 years to help balance her emotions and her relationship with her body. Through Kirtan she found a comfortable and natural way to access collective consciousness.

We use USPS only and are able to ship to the landmass currently known as the United States and Internationally via USPS International.
