The Transgender Pride Flag was created by American Trans woman Monica Helms in 1999, and was first shown at a pride parade in Phoenix in the year 2000. 

🧵These flags are made from hand-selected durable polyester (most flags you'll find on the internet are cheap thin fabrics that snag easily). In our testing, we selected our fabric as the perfect flag material - anything lighter snags, and anything heavier doesn't fly as well.
